Canoeing and Kayaking go way back to the beginning of human culture. The term “kayak” literally means “hunter’s boat.” The kayak was used for transport; however, it would be an excellent hunting tool, facilitating a necessary approach towards one’s preferred prey. The covered deck from the kayak managed to get more ocean-worthy and able to better shed waves compared to a traditional canoe. Kayaks are mainly used during summer time several weeks, mainly for hunting and fishing.
